Prep
Following tech rules I needed to update some safety equipment and the cooling system. Along the way I’m going to do some maintainance along the way.
- Replace coolant with distilled water
- Oil change with Redline 5w-40
- LSD fluid change with Tomei Technical Trax
- Bucket seat and 6-point harness installed in passenger side
- Mount new rear tires (Accelera 351 GD 235/40/18)
Setup Going In

Practice Notes
- Was easily spinning. Adjusted the new angle stops too much
- Front tires were still not great and worse with age
Layout
- Course short layout from bank start
- Short course away from the wall
- Regular course hotlap
What I’d Change
- More front grip
- Don’t forget to add wetter water to the coolant system
- Tire pressure gauge in the car to lower pressure between runs
- Tire water sprayer in the car to cool rear tires between runs
